A durable plastic sheet that has a preformed dome is filled with mastic to offer corrosion protection that provides quick, field applied corrosion protection to anode and test wire leads welded onto metal substrates. An elastomeric adhesive/primer formulation allows for faster application as there is no need to apply a separate primer when application temperatures are above 40°F. When application temperatures are below 40°F, Tapecoat Omniprime may be applied to the pipe surface to ensure the required bond.
This innovative protective covering for anode welds features a preformed dome filled with mastic, delivering exceptional corrosion protection for anode and test wire leads on metal substrates. Its unique elastomeric adhesive/primer formulation streamlines the application process, eliminating the need for a separate primer at temperatures above 40°F, while still ensuring a strong bond in cooler conditions with Tapecoat Omniprime.
This product is widely adopted in the industry for its reliable performance in corrosion protection.
