QC4891 is a solvent-based aliphatic polyester urethane lacquer supplied at 25% solids in a blend of dipropylene glycol monomethyl ether, diacetone alcohol, EEP, and aromatic solvents. It cures by solvent evaporation to form a clear, abrasion-resistant film with tensile strength of 7,000–11,000 psi and elongation of 350–400%. Viscosity ranges from 2,000–5,000 cPs and weight per gallon is 8.3 lbs. Compatible with DPM and diacetone alcohol for dilution.
Designed for ink and paint binders, screen printing base coats, and clear top coats, QC4891 offers excellent hydrolytic and light stability. Its high molecular weight formulation ensures long-term durability and flexibility across industrial and decorative applications.
