High Temperature Tapes

HIGH TEMPERATURE TAPES

1001VM

Thin gauge shielding laminate, typically used as a tape to wrap and shield individual pairs in electronic cables. Provides some conductivity on the film side of the tape.

  • 0.00048” (12µ) metalized polyester film
  • 0.00035” (9µ) aluminum foil

1001

General purpose, thin gauge shielding laminate. Typically used to wrap and shield individual pairs in electronic cable.

  • 0.00048″ (12µ) polyester film
  • 0.00035″ (9µ) aluminum foil

Typical Application:

Shielding of cables in high temperature environments (200°C) such as plenum, military and aerospace cables.

Construction:

Nomex® aramid paper, Kapton® polyimide film or other high temperature films laminated to aluminum or copper foil.

Features & Benefits:

Provides shielding in high temperature processing and end use environments without compromising dimensional stability.
