MC40P is a one-component, oil-free aromatic polyurethane resin that cures via ambient moisture to form a tough, glossy, abrasion-resistant film. Designed for coatings on wood, concrete, and metal, it delivers 85% elongation, 5000 psi tensile strength, and impact resistance up to 160 inch-pounds. Solids content is 40 ± 1%, viscosity ranges from 70–130 cPs, and VOC is 585 ± 8 g/L. Apply above 50°F and reseal containers with nitrogen to prevent moisture exposure.
Engineered for industrial and architectural coatings, MC40P provides superior mechanical durability and gloss retention. Its moisture-cure chemistry simplifies application while delivering long-term protection against abrasion, impact, and chemical exposure.
