Silicone Conformal Coatings
Silicone conformal coatings are most widely used in high-temperature environments due to their innate ability to withstand prolonged exposure to higher temperatures than most other conformal coating chemistries. This attribute has made them the primary choice for under hood automotive applications. They are also capable of being applied in thicker films making them useful as a vibration dampening/isolation tool if the coated assembly is to be placed in a high vibration environment.
Silicone Conformal Coating Performance
Rework of Silicone coated assemblies can sometimes be difficult due to their chemical resistance and the fact that, unlike Acrylics and Polyurethanes, they do not vaporize with the application of heat. These products do not necessarily represent our complete Silicones range.

Silicone based conformal coating which provides excellent moisture and environmental protection for printed circuit assemblies. 1C49LV is a single component with high solids that fluoresces under UV light.

Lower viscosity, single component, fast moisture cure, VOC-free silicone conformal coating which provides excellent moisture and environmental protection for printed circuit assemblies.
- Can be cured at room temperature in just a few minutes.

Heat cure, single component, low viscosity VOC-free silicone conformal coating which provides excellent moisture and environmental protection for printed circuit assemblies. 1C51 is a thermal (heat) cure product.

UV/RTV curing, oxime-type cure silicone conformal coating which provides excellent moisture and environmental protection. A secondary moisture cure will cure unexposed areas of the coating within 24 hours at ambient temperature, 50% relative humidity.

- HumiSeal® 1C63 is self-leveling, with excellent weathering resistance
Two component high strength, fast curing silicone encapsulating gel supplied as Parts A and B, suitable for general printed circuit board applications. The two components are blue and yellow and turn green when mixed.
