Waterproofing Membranes
Royston Membranes are reinforced rubberized bitumen based membranes which provide excellent tensile strength and puncture resistance. Royston® Membranes provide superior support and strength in the most demanding conditions with the added benefits of fast installation and lower traffic control costs. Royston® Membranes are made with state-of-the-art materials which increases the life expectancy and protects against structural damage caused by moisture permeation.
The standard size is 48 inches x 50 feet. Custom sizes are available.

Yes, unless the asphalt wearing surface is less than 12 months old, Chase manufactures a low V.O.C. primer, a sprayable primer, and a cold temperature primer.

Yes, The Royston 104 AHT can be applied to vertical surfaces. Other Royston Membranes may be applied to vertical surfaces. Please check with the Chase technical department for specific recommendations.

Yes, in order to properly activate the bitumen adhesive primer, an asphalt overlay has to be installed. The minimum requirements for the asphalt overlay are a 1-1/2inch lift thickness and a minimum asphalt temperature of 290°F at the screed.

Royston® Flex Flo Adhesive Sealant (FFAS)

- A rubberized elastomeric urethane accommodating a wide range of expansion, contraction, and shear stresses caused by vibration and thermal movement

Joint Sealant-Membrane
Royston® 104 Caulkable Mastic (104CM)
- Used as a secondary sealant along the seams of an installed membrane system
- A heavy-bodied, rubberized asphalt, single component sealant to be used with Royston® waterproofing membrane installations
- Applied as a thin bead of sealant on the surface of Royston® Membranes
- Creates an impenetrable barrier that prevents the intrusion of moisture at seams, protrusions and termination points
- Will not dry out, crack or generally deteriorate
