Butyl Tapes

6025 HT

Tapecoat 6025 is a UV stable 30 mil butyl based cold applied tape for high-temperature applications:

  • UV stable backing for use both below and above ground on a small to medium diameter pipe
  • Maximum service temperature121ºC (250º F)
  • Required primer-dependent upon service temperature
  • Meets NACE SP0109 (Cold-Applied Laminate Polymeric Tapes) and ANSI/AWWA C209 (Type II)

Greenline 

Royston Greenline is a 35 mil butyl based anticorrosion tape with flexible backing for below-grade applications.

  • Flexible backing allows for easy application on small and hard to coat substrates
  • Available in Regular and Special versions. Regular has an extended adhesive edge to allow for a superior layer to layer adhesion
  • 747 Primer required for all applications
  • Meets NACE SP0109 (Cold-Applied Laminate Polymeric Tapes) and ASNI/AWWA C209 (Type II)

HT/MB

Tapecoat HT/MB  is 40 mil mesh backed anti-corrosion tape for buried high-temperature applications 

  • Suitable for temperatures up to149ºC  (300ºF)
  • Mesh Backing provides excellent soil stress resistance on small to large diameter pipe
  • Required primer-dependent upon service temperature
  • Meets NACE SP0109 (Reinforced Polymeric Tapes)
