Superabsorbent Liquids

Superabsorbent Liquids
Superabsorbent liquids are cross-linked to become superabsorbent polymers through a process of heating over time.  The cross-linked liquid is brittle when dried, so a plasticizing agent is added to make the liquid “flexible”.  Additional additives for wetting and/or adhesion can be added as well.
