AXIS 991: Multipurpose Adhesive For Plastic and Metal
AXIS 991 is suitable for a wide variety of applications that require a fast cure, flexibility, high adhesion, and autoclave resistance. AXIS 991 cures in seconds when exposed to light of the proper wavelength and intensity and achieves excellent adhesion to glass, plastics, and metal. AXIS 991 was specifically designed for bonding stainless steel cannulae into hubs, syringes, and lancets for needle assemblies. Suitable for use in the assembly of disposable medical devices. Axis 991 Medical Device Adhesive is designed for rapid bonding of plastics and metals typically used in the manufacture of medical devices. This product fluoresces blue for in-line inspection under low-intensity “black” light (365nm). Resin Designs medical device adhesives contain no nonreactive solvents and cure upon exposure to light. Their ability to cure in seconds enables faster processing, greater output, and lower processing costs. When cured with UV light curing spot lamps, focused beams, or flood lamps, they deliver optimum speed and performance for medical device assembly. This product is in full compliance with the RoHS directives 2002/95/EC and 2003/11EC.
